Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing art often compared to a flowing dance. The body is guided through gentle yogic stretches, while the therapist uses hands, feet, knees and elbows to stimulate pressure points. Combined with deep breathing, the healthy movement of energy along the channels is restored, encouraging a sense of relaxation and vitality.
This is a very effective therapy for back pain, scoliosis, sciatica and chronic headaches. It helps relieve stiffness, restore mobility to the joints and can improve circulation to problem areas. A specialised treatment can be given to assist with breathing issues.
A treatment is given through loose comfortable clothing while lying on a floor mat and can last from 90 minutes to 2 hours.
Eve first trained in the Northern Style of Thai Traditional Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2009. She completed an intensive course in Osteo-Thai for the Breathing Process in the UK in 2015. ‘After one massage with Eve, I felt as though I had spent a week at the spa. Mentally and physically I felt as if I had done a 180. She took the time to modify my treatment because I was pregnant and knew exactly what would be calming and effective. I would highly recommend Eve to anyone who wants to rejuvenate themselves and feel totally energized!’ Dana Bennie Lerner
‘Eve’s Thai massage for me is like a lovely long yoga session without any effort from my side! With the bonus of receiving a gorgeous massage at the same time. The benefits far outlast a regular massage due to the inclusion of gentle stretches, breathing and deep relaxation.’ Carmen Clews
‘After having passed some really stressful months with packing up and moving country, and settling into a new life style in South Africa I started to suffer from migraines and together with chronic sinusitus, these kept me company on many a sleepless night. After ten of Eve’s Thai massages, done on a weekly basis, the headaches have disappeared and I started sleeping through the night. Chronic sinusitus has almost completely cleared. I have also gained a sense of general well- being. I keep up my Thai massage on a monthly basis to maintain these improvements and more.’ Luana Adinolfi
‘Eve’s massages are a moment in time where one can feel supported through a yogic experience that massages internal organs through the process whilst receiving the healing energy of external massage, unifying in a feeling of relaxed, reparative bliss.’ Das Lyon
